La Palma
It was in 1964 when Dairyland farmers branched out from just being agricultural land. They then changed the name to La Palma and then drafted a master plan for a well-defined residential space, industrial and commercial areas where developers were greeted with open arms.
Today, it is a well-balanced city with a strong sense of community with a responsive municipal government to look after its welfare. La Palma enjoys the lowest crime rates in Orange County, so residents can relax and enjoy peaceful living. Annual events are religiously being followed by the community, such as the Annual La Palma Days that have been celebrated for 20 years. The Halloween Carnival is another, where there are games and costume contests. They celebrate concerts in the Park from July till August and live bands perform here. Every December, they celebrate the Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony to usher in the holiday season with some Christmas carol sing-along, Santa pictorials, and other activities that both adults and kids will enjoy. |
